Upon arrival into Adelaide, after clearing customs and immigration, your Tour Manager will meet you in the airport to transfer the group to your hotel to check in for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. Small in size, but big in nature, the city of Adelaide is idyllically situated between some of the countries top wine regions and most beautiful beaches. The city offers some of Australia's best restaurants and boutique shops. The drive in from the airport is only a short one at approximately 15-20 minutes.
This evening the group will get together with the Tour Manager for Welcome Drinks. Get to know your tour group and tour manager, reminisce on past tours and trips and share the excitement of the magic of The British & Irish Lions Tour ahead.

Enjoy a day at leisure in Adelaide.
Make sure to start your day by heading for the Adelaide Central Market, one of the largest undercover markets in the Southern Hemisphere which features more than 70 stalls of South Australia's freshest produce including fruit & veg, artisanal breads, cheese, meats, local seafood and plenty more. After the Market, you could head to North Terrace where many of Adelaide's main cultural institutions sit shoulder to shoulder.
In the evening, find yourself on Rundle Street, the classy side of the city, where there are plenty of excellent restaurants serving an array of cuisines that suit every budget.

Adelaide – Barossa Valley Day Trip - 11th July 2025

Discover the best of Barossa Valley with this food and wine experience tour, sampling some of the wines and gourmet foods that have made this region an international icon.
After being picked up from your hotel, head over to Lyndoch Lavender Farm, the largest Lavender Farm in South Australia. As a family owned and operated business, they provide visitors with a great opportunity to visit a working lavender farm where they can purchase quality merchandise in beautiful rural surroundings. Morning Tea with Lavender Scones is included.
The next stop is the beautiful Lambert Estate for wine tasting and lunch. With it’s panoramic vineyard views and halls of local art, is a stunning location for the first of our wine tastings, accompanied by family anecdotes and wine notes. After a hearty two-course lunch, why not take your coffee and a ‘Chocolatier’ out to the balcony.

Adelaide- Kangaroo Island Day Trip - 11th July 2025

Experience the highlights of South Australia’s famous Kangaroo Island.
The tour starts from your hotel, where the coach will pick you up to transfer to Cape Jervis for the ferry across to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Visit the Seal Bay Conservation Park and take a guided walk on the beach to witness the rare and wild Australian sea lions up close.
After a delicious two-course lunch, spend the afternoon at the Flinders Chase National Park. As you travel through the park, keep an eye out for echidnas, wallabies, reptiles, and koalas. See the rugged coastline from walks around Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Remarkable Rocks provide great photographic opportunities, and the Admirals Arch boardwalk takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal the spectacular rock archway, a natural nursery, and a haven for playful long-nosed fur seals.
The last stop of the day is Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park to see some of Australia’s most famous creatures. From the Wildlife Park, it’s back on the ferry and back to your hotel in Adelaide.

Picking up at your accommodation in a custom 4WD vehicle, this full day tour travels north along the picturesque Great Barrier Reef Drive on route to the World Heritage Listed, Daintree National Park.
Enjoy light refreshments before embarking on a 1-hour Daintree River Cruise providing insight into the region’s unique flora and fauna including the estuarine crocodile, an infamous apex predator, at home amongst some of the world’s most biologically diverse mangrove habitat.
