+ £110pp
Join us for a full day of fine wine and gourmet food in the stunning Yarra Valley. The Yarra Valley is famous for having some of the best vineyards in the world.
The morning starts with pick up from your hotel and an introduction to your friendly guide who will be the master of proceedings for today. Our first stop is the Killara Estate for our first wine tasting of the day. Learn more about wine production in this region and sample a selection of the varieties produced here. After the wine tasting enjoy a lunch of wood-fired pizza and antipasti boards, accompanied by a glass of wine. After lunch it’s on to Greenstone’s Vineyard for our next wine tasting. The winery claims to have one of the most spectacular views across the Yarra Valley at the base of the dramatic Christmas Hills. The Yarra Valley is famed for its chardonnay and pinot noir varieties so be sure to try these local favourites.
Our final stop of the day is Morgans winery and Distillery. The self-titled ‘Old School’ vineyard still operates mostly by hand, using traditional methods from hand bottling and labelling, to foot-stomping the grapes. Morgans distillery is one of only two whey spirit producers in Australia, a method world-renowned for producing incredible smooth spirit. For those gin-lovers amongst us there’s time for a tasting here in the private gin bar. At the end of your Yarra Valley wine and food tour, transfer back to your hotel.
