  • Day 1

    Arrive Australia

    Make your own way to your hotel to check in for 5 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The city will be awash with a sea of red & yellow shirts in anticipation of the 1st Test vs the Wallabies.  The drive in from the airport is only a short one at approximately 25-30 minutes.

    This evening the group will get together with the Tour Manager for Welcome Drinks. Get to know your tour group and tour manager, reminisce on past tours and trips and share the excitement of the magic of The British & Irish Lions Tour ahead.

    Meet with your Tour Manager and the rest of your group and enjoy a drink together. It's a great chance to get to know each other and have a relaxed start to the tour.

  • Day 2-3

    Days at Leisure

    Enjoy two days at leisure in Brisbane. It's a fantastic city to enjoy a walk - in particular the Southbank precinct is always popular, or if you're looking for something more challenging, Mount Coot-Tha is an iconic walk that offers incredible views when you reach the top.

    Friday see's Gullivers Sports Travel host the first of our exclusive Gullivers Lions Clubhouse events. A firm favourite on previous Lions Tours, our events have included sit down Q&A's with former players, local rugby club events where we have immersed with the local rugby community and pub days with live music, food and drink. A great atmosphere with great camaraderie to build the excitement ahead of the first Test is the order of the day here. More details to follow.

    The day of the 1st Test is here. How will this Lions team start? Will they firmly place themselves in the drivers seat, or will the Wallabies establish an early lead in this 3-Test series? Be there in the stadium for this experience of a lifetime. 

    The Suncorp Stadium is easily accessible on foot or public transport.

    Day at Leisure

    Enjoy a final day at leisure in Brisbane.

  • Day 6

    Brisbane to Melbourne

    Check out of your Brisbane hotel this morning and head with the group to the airport for your flight to Melbourne for the Melbourne Rebels pre-Test match and the much anticipated 2nd Test. Upon arrival, transfer with the group to the hotel to check in for a 6 night stay on a bed and breakfast basis. 

    This sports-mad city is the perfect destination for the next 2 fixtures on this tour and is the Australian mecca for all things trendy and tasty.

  • Day 7

    Melbourne Pre-Test (TBC) v The British & Irish Lions

    The final pre-Test match of the tour sees The British & Irish Lions take on the Melbourne Pre-Test (TBC) at the Marvel Stadium. Expect new Head Coach Andy Farrell to make some changes for this one and provide the opportunity for some of the less-experienced players to compete for their place to play on the main-stage. 

    Melbourne has a wonderful public transport system for getting to/from the game as well as the stadium being comfortably walkable from most of the city.

    Days at Leisure

    Enjoy 3 days at leisure in Australia's 2nd biggest city, Melbourne. 

    The perfect blend of rich cultural history and new-age trends, Melbourne is a place with something for everyone. Much of central Melbourne's gems are hidden off of the tram-graced thoroughfares in small lanes and arcades so make sure to visit Centre Place, a densely packed laneway of tiny cafe's, bars and Art Nouveau Street Lamps. 

    On Friday will be Gullivers second exclusive Gullivers Lions Clubhouse event. More details to follow on what is sure to be a highlight of the trip.

  • Day 11

    2nd Test - Wallabies v British & Irish Lions

    Today is Melbourne's turn to host a Test match, the pivotal 2nd Test of the series. Can one of the 2 teams close out a 2-0 series victory here or will it all come down to the 3rd Test in Sydney? Make your way on foot or public transport to one of the world's most iconic stadiums, the MCG. 

    The Melbourne Cricket Ground is often considered the mecca of cricket and with a capacity of over 100,000, expect this to be a loud one!

  • Day 18

    3rd Test - Wallabies v The British & Irish Lions

    The climax of this epic adventure. The final Test of the series and the last opportunity to witness The British & Irish Lions play against Australia for the next 12 years. Will the series champion already have been crowned in Melbourne, or will it all come down to today? 

    Transfer with the group to the Accor Stadium for the match and back to your hotel after the game.

After being collected from your hotel, transfer to the smooth sailing catamaran for the scenic 75-minute journey across to Moreton Island. A tea, coffee or soft drink per guest is included on the journey across to the island. 

Upon arrival to Moreton Island enjoy free time and access to the resort facilities prior to the Whale Watching cruise 12pm-3pm. Expert commentary by an Eco Ranger is included as we embark on the search for these amazing marine animals. Light lunch and refreshments are served on board the cruise.

Melbourne - Great Ocean Road Day Trip - July 23rd 2025

Come and see for yourself why this iconic coastal drive is world renowned.

After being picked up from your Melbourne CBD accommodation, you will then explore the world famous Great Ocean Road on this full day tour. 

Visit all the iconic favourites, starting with Torquay Surf Beach, the Pole House and Great Ocean Road sign and Cape Patton, before stopping for lunch (not included) and free time at the coastal town of Apollo Bay. After lunch, take a guided forest walk to see some of the tallest trees in the world and see first hand koalas and birds in their natural habitat. From here we continue on to the Gibson Steps to see the world renowned 12 Apostles for a fantastic photo opportunity. The final touring stop is Loch Ard Gorge, Razorback and Island Archway for more incredible rock formations. Visit all the iconic favourites, starting with Torquay Surf Beach, the Pole House and Great Ocean Road sign and Cape Patton, before stopping for lunch (not included) and free time at the coastal town of Apollo Bay. The morning starts with pick up from your hotel and an introduction to your friendly guide who will be the master of proceedings for today. Our first stop is the De Bortoli Vineyard at Dixons Creek for a pairing of selected wines and cheeses at the Valley’s largest producer. Our next stop is Yering Station, site of Victoria’s first vineyard in 1838. Here we’ll enjoy a wine tasting of their estate wines in the original winery featuring local artwork. After the tasting it’s time for lunch in their stunning restaurant. With its world class views, you’ll have an a la carte selection from which to select your main meal and glass of wine. After lunch it’s on to Payten & Jones Winery and Coldstream Hills Vineyard for further tastings.
