  • Day 1

    Arrive Australia

    Make your own way to your hotel to check in for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. This sports-mad city is the perfect destination for the second Test and is the Australian mecca for all things trendy and tasty. The drive in from the airport is only a short one at approximately 25-30 minutes.

    This evening the group will get together with the Tour Manager for Welcome Drinks. Get to know your tour group and tour manager, reminisce on past tours and trips and share the excitement of the magic of The British & Irish Lions Tour ahead.

    Meet with your Tour Manager and the rest of your group and enjoy a drink together. It's a great chance to get to know each other and have a relaxed start to the tour.

  • Day 2

    Exclusive Gullivers Lions Clubhouse

    Today Gullivers Sports Travel host our exclusive Gullivers Lions Clubhouse event. A firm favourite on previous Lions Tours, our events have included sit down Q&A's with former players, local rugby club events where we have immersed with the local rugby community and pub days with live music, food and drink. A great atmosphere with great camaraderie to build the excitement ahead of the first test is the order of the day here. More details to follow.

    2nd Test - Wallabies v The British & Irish Lions

    Today is Melbourne's turn to host a Test match, the pivotal 2nd Test of the series. Can one of the 2 teams close out a 2-0 series victory here or will it all come down to the 3rd Test in Sydney? Make your way on foot or public transport to one of the world's most iconic stadiums, the MCG. 

    The Melbourne Cricket Ground is often considered the mecca of cricket and with a capacity of over 100,000, expect this to be a loud one!

    Melbourne to Cairns

    Days at Leisure

    Enjoy 3 days at leisure in the tropical destination of Cairns, the gateway to the world-famous Great Barrier Reef.

    In Cairns you will be able to connect with nature in a place unlike anywhere. The tropical north-west of Australia is home to 2 natural wonders, the Great Reef & Daintree Rainforest, allowing the adventurer in you to become immersed in wild Australia.

  • Day 10

    3rd Test - Wallabies v The British & Irish Lions

    The climax of this fantastic tour. The final Test of the series and the last opportunity to witness The British & Irish Lions play against Australia for the next 12 years. Will the series champion already have been crowned in Melbourne, or will it all come down to today? 

    Transfer with the group to the Accor Stadium for the match and back to your hotel after the game.

  • Day 11

    Day at Leisure

    One final day at leisure in Sydney before departing tomorrow.

    It's a city that features on most bucket-lists for a reason, so don't miss the opportunity to get out on the water and enjoy a ferry ride over to Manly, which offers some great views. Bondi Beach is a train or bus ride away and the wonderful Bondi to Coogee walk is worth the steps.

    Depart Australia

Picking up at your accommodation in a custom 4WD vehicle, this full day tour travels north along the picturesque Great Barrier Reef Drive on route to the World Heritage Listed, Daintree National Park.

Enjoy light refreshments before embarking on a 1-hour Daintree River Cruise providing insight into the region’s unique flora and fauna including the estuarine crocodile, an infamous apex predator, at home amongst some of the world’s most biologically diverse mangrove habitat.

Back on land, enjoy an interpretive drive over the Alexandra Range, venturing into the heart of the oldest continually existing rainforest on earth.
